LATINA Challenge – Official Legal Documentation (ENGLISH)

1. Official Rules – LATINA Challenge

Effective Date: June 26, 2025
Organizer: LATINA USA, managed by SN MARKETING

1. ELIGIBILITY
The LATINA Challenge (“Promotion”) is open only to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Employees of LATINA, SN MARKETING, their affiliated agencies, and immediate family members are not eligible.

2. PROMOTION PERIOD
The Promotion begins at 12:01 AM Central Time (CT) on June 26, 2025, and ends at 11:59 PM CT on July 15, 2025. All entries must be received within this period.

3. HOW TO ENTER
1. Follow @yosoy.latina on Instagram.
2. Mention two friends in the comments of the challenge post and invite them to follow the account.
3. Post a video or Reel on your Instagram feed showing your curly hair transformation using any LATINA product.
4. Tag @yosoy.latina as a collaborator and also tag @ultabeauty.
5. Use the hashtag: #RizosConOrgulloLatino
6. Your Instagram account must be public.
Only one entry per person is allowed.

4. WINNER SELECTION
The top three videos with the highest number of organic “likes” as of 12:00 PM CT on July 31st, 2025, will be selected as winners. LATINA reserves the right to disqualify entries suspected of using bots or automated tools. In case of a tie, the team will judge based on originality and brand alignment.

5. PRIZES
– 1st Prize: A trip for two to a Latin American destination of the winner’s choice (including flights and hotel). Maximum value: $3,500 USD.
– 2nd Prize: One-year supply of LATINA products (as defined by LATINA USA) + $500 USD ULTA Beauty gift card.
– 3rd Prize: $500 USD ULTA Beauty gift card.

Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

6. WINNER NOTIFICATION
Winners will be contacted via Instagram DM and/or email on or after July 31st, 2025. If a winner does not respond within 72 hours, an alternate may be selected.

7. CONTENT RIGHTS
By entering, participants grant LATINA and SN MARKETING the right to use, reproduce, and share their video (with credit) across social media, digital platforms, and promotional materials.

8. GENERAL CONDITIONS
LATINA reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion in case of fraud, technical issues, or any factor impacting the integrity of the Promotion. LATINA is not responsible for lost entries or connectivity issues.

9. PRIVACY
Personal information will be handled according to LATINA’s Privacy Policy available at www.yosoylatina.com/privacy

10. TAXES AND VERIFICATION
Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes. If the prize exceeds $600 USD, LATINA may request tax information and issue a Form 1099-MISC. A valid ID and affidavit of eligibility may also be required.

12. GOVERNING LAW
This Promotion is governed by the laws of the State of Texas (USA), without regard to conflict of law principles.

2. Model Release & Content License Agreement

By participating in the LATINA Challenge, you agree to the following terms:

I hereby grant to LATINA USA and SN MARKETING, their agents, employees, licensees, and successors, the unrestricted right and permission to use, reproduce, distribute, and display my name, Instagram handle, likeness, video content, and voice (if applicable) in connection with any and all promotional and marketing purposes related to the LATINA brand, in any media now known or later developed, including digital platforms, social media, websites, email marketing, and print materials.

I waive any right to inspect or approve the final use of the material and understand I will not receive any compensation beyond the contest prize (if awarded). This release is granted in perpetuity and without geographic restriction.

By entering the contest, I certify that I am at least 18 years old and the rightful owner and creator of the content submitted.

3. Privacy Policy – User-Generated Content (UGC)

As part of our promotions and contests, LATINA may collect videos, images, and text shared by users on social media using specific hashtags and tagging our accounts. By participating, you grant LATINA and its affiliates the right to use such content for promotional, editorial, or commercial purposes, including social media, newsletters, websites, and print materials, with or without credit.

We do not sell your content or personal data to third parties.

4. Taxes and Verification Clause

Winners are solely responsible for any federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt or use of the prize. If a prize value exceeds $600, winners may be required to provide tax identification information and LATINA may issue a Form 1099-MISC to comply with IRS regulations. LATINA reserves the right to request government-issued ID and a signed affidavit of eligibility prior to awarding the prize.
